I know these days Valentines day is widely considered, well, corny. Maybe so (a little bit) and not really helped by the fact that gift shops are shoving v-day themed kitsch in your face everywhere you go. But it doesn't have to be like that, nor does it need to be a day dedicated just to couples.
Why not make it about someone (anyone) special in your life without being a slave to the 'hallmark holiday'. There are so many other, more imaginative & thoughtful ways to say 'I love you', without actually having to say it (if those words don't come easily to you).
