How haven't done an outfit post since way back here and that was BC {before canon} so the photos weren't all that great/clear.
Now I am fully equipped with a better camera and all my clothes have arrived in boxes after their two month journey across the atlantic and indian ocean. I am happy to say they got here in once piece, though I'm pretty sure i'm going to have to do a complete wardrobe overhaul now that I live in the not-so-cold Emirates. I've never been so happy to see my shoes again. Oh I how I missed you ladies :)
Me and Bo have been reunited for nearly 2 weeks now and it's been unbelievably good. We've moved into our new house which is be-a-u-tiful, but at the moment is barer than old mother hubbard's cupboard so we've been trying to decide where to start with ye old decorating. We're pretty much starting from scratch, so will be kitting out the entire pad. So far we have a bed, sofa and a temporary unit for the TV{of course}. I'm currently looking for some interior inspiration so any relevant websites/ blogs that I may not be aware of, please send them my way.
Anyway, here are some snaps from my weekend ensemble. We took our first little trip through to Dubai {my first time there} for an oh-so-glamourous home shopping trip *duh* Who am I kidding, I LOVE home shopping. Bo, not so much. Once we hit up Krispy Kreme though, he was all for it :)

Louise! I just came by to thank you for your wonderful comment on my blog post about balance the other day (and by the way, you should consider adding your email address to your blogger profile--instructions here: http://storyofmylifetheblog.blogspot.com/2011/10/did-you-know-giveaway-winner.html), AND I just wanted to say I am blown away by how breathtakingly beautiful you are! Your blog is adorable and I think you have all the makings of something really wonderful here.
ReplyDeleteBUT, it's true that having a large following, if that's what you want, DOES take a ton of time and effort to build up, and if that's not something you can give right now, it's perfectly fine and healthy to just accept blogging as the wonderful hobby that it is and not get too caught up in the numbers game of it all. Set a time limit for blogging related things each day, and try to really make that time count, but don't beat yourself up if your progress isn't as fast as some others'. All of our situations are very unique.
And as for social media sites, the most important ones are Facebook and Twitter for driving traffic to your blog, so try to get a general feel for those and don't worry about others that may come along.
I sincerely wish you the best, and will be checking in on you now and again. Your story seems fascinating. Take care girl!
Thanks for comments :) :)
