Problem Solved! :: Hot Legs.

When a friend of mine, who is going on holiday to Florida soon, asked me what I think she should pack in terms of bottoms because she doesn't like to show her legs off  -- at all... nothing but a bit of ankle, unless she can avoid it... I think she's silly, but we all have our body issues and i'm not about to argue since I have some myself and, usually, no amount of flattery can convince me otherwise.  It's the curse of the female sex. * ok breathe* (was that the longest statement ever?) -- I decided to address the dilemma head on, in the form of a blog post, to benefit the greater good.

....

Anywho, this obviously rules out shorts, minis and most skirt lengths.  Isn't it great then that, besides maxi-dresses and maxi-skirts,  there is a plethora of trouser options out there in an array of colours and styles to suit all shapes and sizes and i've located some of the best out there.  Going to somewhere like Florida, where it's currently in the 30's, wearing jeans and leggings just won't do.  You need light, breathable fabrics that don't bind to the skin and there are plenty of options to keep your look modern, stylish and sweat-free,  that can be worn day or night.

here are some of the ones that I picked out (I picked mainly brights), but I have chosen pairs that represent a lot of the different styles that are available: palazzo, chinos, linen, wide-leg, harem....

Below the pic, I have included the link to each pair.  Just click on the number.

Surprise

I am the worst poster EVUUURRRRR.  I said I would be bringing you lots over the last month and I didn’t make one.single.post in August.  Worst! Here’s why though...  Me and the Bo’dizzle are leaving the country in 2 months.  We are upping sticks and moving across shores to the the U.A.E.: Abu Dhabi to be exact.  I am so excited, if not still a little astounded that we are actually making such a huge move, all of which has come about in just a matter of months.  I still can’t quite believe it’s happening yet.  We’ve spent the last month packing up all of our stuff, throwing lot’s away, emptying our flat, temporarily moving back in with my parents, changing addresses, finalising and cancelling bills, making extra trips and visits, sorting visas, renewing passports, selling furniture, not to mention working and making several calls, emails and media errands across the Arabian Gulf coast, all the while trying to squeeze in some form of social life.  So you see, things have been a little stressful.

Good thing we’re going on holiday for a week to Suisse.  J

I have a great little fashion post coming your way though so sit tight my lovelies...
